What we're doing

Bringing the world on board

The Global No First Use Roundtable

On November 2-3, 2019, contributors to our upcoming anthology, The Sheathed Sword, will converge in Bengaluru for an author roundtable during which they will present and debate their research. They will be joined by researchers from The Takshashila Institutions and eminent members of India's strategic community.

The authors represent a diverse range of opinions and will discuss the unfolding geopolitical environment, the feasibility of no first use policies for individual states, and the desirability of a global no first use (GNFU) agreement.

The Sheathed Sword:
From Nuclear Brink to No First Use

Our upcoming anthology, The Sheathed Sword, brings together leading experts on nuclear strategy and international politics from across the world.
